"A bit warmer each day"
After a beautiful afternoon yesterday, we'll continue with a very pleasant weather pattern for Friday and into the upcoming weekend.
You will certainly need the jackets once again this morning as temperatures have settled into the low 50s in town with middle 40s across our inland and northern cold spots. Our day will dawn bright and sunny and that ample sunshine will help to warm us up into the upper 70s by the afternoon hours. A developing seabreeze off the chilly Gulf of Mexico waters will keep beach and coastal locations a few degrees cooler with highs expected in the middle 70s.
Through the evening quiet conditions will stay in place and temperatures will fall into the 60s before slipping into the middle 50s first thing Saturday morning.
A couple of weak fronts will try to make their way toward Southwest Florida both today and Saturday, but before they do they will simply run out of steam and not have any effect on our weather. This means our rain free pattern continues all the way into the weekend with no significant cool downs in sight. In fact, over the next few days we'll add a degree or two to the afternoon temperatures with 80° readings in the forecast as early as Sunday. Overnight temperatures will cool into the upper 50s to low 60s through early next week
By mid week humidity will be on the rise in advance of another cold front, which could bring a few showers to the area by the time we get to Thursday.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
By mid week humidity will be on the rise in advance of another cold front, which could bring a few showers to the area by the time we get to Thursday.

and educational lives of underprivileged and at risk children in
Collier County. Since its inception in 2001, the Naples Winter Wine
Festival has raised more than $107 million for children in need.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Naples Winter Wine Festival is ranked among the top 10 arts and
entertainment events for wealthy Americans. This ranking by the
Luxury Institute is based on exclusivity, quality and prestige. Since
2004, the festival has earned the distinction of being the most
successful charity wine auction in the nation according to Wine
Spectator. The event brings many of the world's finest vintners and
chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists for a
three-day gala in picturesque Naples, Florida.
The trustees' vision of the Naples Children & Education Foundation
made the dream of the Naples Winter Wine Festival a reality.
The vision was based on creating an exquisite event, with proceeds
benefiting local charities that assist underprivileged and at risk
children. These two goals drive the trustees to ensure the festival
is a huge success, with a significant impact on the quality of life
for our community's most venerable children.
