HIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
"A bit warmer each day"
After a beautiful afternoon yesterday, we'll continue with a very pleasant weather pattern for Friday and into the upcoming weekend.
You will certainly need the jackets once again this morning as temperatures have settled into the low 50s in town with middle 40s across our inland and northern cold spots. Our day will dawn bright and sunny and that ample sunshine will help to warm us up into the upper 70s by the afternoon hours. A developing seabreeze off the chilly Gulf of Mexico waters will keep beach and coastal locations a few degrees cooler with highs expected in the middle 70s.
Through the evening quiet conditions will stay in place and temperatures will fall into the 60s before slipping into the middle 50s first thing Saturday morning.
A couple of weak fronts will try to make their way toward Southwest Florida both today and Saturday, but before they do they will simply run out of steam and not have any effect on our weather. This means our rain free pattern continues all the way into the weekend with no significant cool downs in sight. In fact, over the next few days we'll add a degree or two to the afternoon temperatures with 80° readings in the forecast as early as Sunday. Overnight temperatures will cool into the upper 50s to low 60s through early next week
By mid week humidity will be on the rise in advance of another cold front, which could bring a few showers to the area by the time we get to Thursday.

SENATOR DIANNE FEINSTEIN MADE HER MESSAGE CLEAR THURSDAY---
SHE WANTS GUNS LIKE THESE BANNED.
Once you have been through one of these episodes. Once you see what the crime scene is like, it isn't like the movies. It changes your view of weapons.
FEINSTEIN'S PROPOSAL WOULD UPGRADE AN ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN THAT EXPIRED IN 2004.
IT WOULD ALSO OUTLAW AMMUNITION MAGAZINES THAT HOLD MORE THAN 10 ROUNDS.
THE LEGISLATION FACES STRONG OPPOSITION FROM GUN RIGHTS ADVOCATES WHO BELIEVE THE WEAPONS ARE NEEDED FOR PROTECTION.
I want a gun that can hold a lot of ammo because if I'm faced with an intruder or multiple intruders that come into my home, I want to make sure I have enough ammo to get the job done. Especially if they're armed.
FORMER HOUSE SPEAKER NEWT GINGRICH SAYS THIS IS JUST A RENEWED PUSH BRING BACK THE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN.
That's not looking seriously at mental health, looking seriously at violent games, looking seriously at violent movies, looking seriously at a variety of things which may have nothing to do with a 20-year-old proposal that in fact has brought out every single chance they have to try to extend the power of the government over individuals.
DESPITE THE RECENT PUSH BY THE WHITE HOUSE AND DEMOCRATS FOR TOUGHER GUN CONTROL MEASURES. FEINSTEIN'S FULL PROPOSAL IS GIVEN LITTLE CHANCE OF WINNING CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL.
I'M MELISA RANEY REPORTING.
--SUGGESTED TAG--
The National Rifle Association says it is "confident" Congress won't pass Feinstein's measure.
Supporters of more gun control acknowledge the constitutional right to bear arms, but argue that rifles capable of firing multiple rounds automatically or semi-automatically exceed the reasonable needs of hunters and other gun enthusiasts. JOE BIDEN SPEAKS ON GUNS: On Friday, Vice President Biden heads to Virginia where he'll deliver a speech on efforts to reduce gun violence. Biden will sell the White House's gun policy agenda in Richmond with other administration officials and Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va. Last week, President Obama announced his gun policy agenda, for which the vice president provided recommendations as he spearheaded the gun violence task force in the wake of the deadly shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

Chris Curry: In order for Immokalee to get there, things have to change. There are people there who do not want things to change.
You know, and as long as commissioners are willing to make it a political issue, then you have a situation where the airport tenants feel like they're driving the same car that I am. And this is not a driver's training car with two steering wheels. It's a car that I was given the keys to, to direct the airport center in a professional manner. And that's what I intend to do.
