IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
WARMING TREND ON THE WAY
Saturday was a picture perfect day day for us, and it looks like Sunday will too. However, tomorrow will be warmer!
In fact a warming trend will occur through midweek! High pressure is building in and that will keep the sun shining on Southwest Florida and allow those temperatures to heat up.
Overnight and early morning temperatures will still be a little cool with morning lows Sunday dropping into the mid to low 50s once again. We'll enjoy wall to wall sunshine Sunday afternoon then break into the low 80s for daytime highs.
Humidity levels will also be quite comfortable tomorrow, and winds will be fairly light out of east and northeast around 10 to 15 MPH.
With the air being so dry, rain prospects will stay very slim through the weekend and into the first half of next week.
For the boaters and beach goers, conditions on the waters will be very nice; winds will be out of the east at 10 knots, and seas will only get up to 2 feet. Inland waters should have a very light chop.
As we head into next week, a south wind will bring in more warmth and increasing humidity. Daytime highs will exceed 80° from Monday through Wednesday, and in fact, we'll even hit the mid 80s by Wednesday afternoon!
The next cold front will come sweeping through Southwest Florida early Thursday, and there appears to be enough moisture and energy with this system to bring us some scattered rain followed by another stretch of cooler weather by the end of the week.
