WEATHER IS COMING UP.
Return to index of stories...
The weather patter still looks good for us tomorrow. I expect mostly clear weather this evening and, once again, tomorrow morning will likely be foggy in some places to start the day. Fog this morning reduced visibility in many areas and there could be a repeat performance tomorrow morning. Temperatures this evening will fall through the 60's and land about 59/60 to start the day on Thursday. The weak front I mentioned yesterday has washed out over the center part of the state and we won't be seeing any cool weather move down here. Tomorrow's highs will be the in mid 80's and beach temperatures will be in the upper 70's. Winds off the cool Gulf of Mexico water will keep beaches a few points "cooler" than inland areas.
Looking ahead to the weekend it appears than another weak front will move into the northern part of our state and we remain on the warm side of this next weather system. Some computer guidance tries to pop up a few showers on Sunday afternoon, but I think it will be mainly dry for our area this weekend. Humidity will continue to come up a bit each day through Sunday as we top out around 84 degrees.
For forward planning - the long-range forecasts predict a pattern change for us by the middle of next week. We will start to see more showers moving in and some cooler temperatures are predicted by the first weekend in March.
