FIRST AT NINE -- FOG ALERT.
ALL MORNING, WE'VE BEEN TRACKING LOW VISIBILITY.
IN PARTS OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA.
STORM WARN 7 METEOROLOGIST ALLYSON RAE HAS AN UPDATE FOR US.
Return to index of stories...
The spring-like warmth we've enjoyed for last several days will soon come to an end this week as a cold front eventually slides into Southwest Florida tomorrow.
That means we've got one more day of sunny, dry weather with highs in the mid 80s before rain showers start pushing in from the northwest Tuesday afternoon.
Even though today's skies will be relatively quiet and tranquil today, there is a concern for low visibility once again this morning, both over the Gulf and over land. Sea fog will make visibility challenging at times today, and areas of fog will also develop in spots across Southwest Florida.
The fog and low clouds will ultimately give way to sunshine by the mid morning, and temperatures will warm quickly into the mid 80s during the afternoon.
A balmy breeze will continue out of the south today, which at times will gust to 20-25 mph.
Rain prospects will stay rather slim today, but a couple spotty showers aren't out of the question this afternoon deep inland.
Tuesday will be much different as a cool front slides in from the northwest, bringing lots of clouds along with scattered rain and perhaps a few storms by the afternoon.
Cloudy skies and a few showers may even carry over into Wednesday before the front makes its final push through our area by Thursday. Once the front clears Southwest Florida, temperatures will take a dive. Daytime highs Thursday will comfortably reach the mid 70s, Friday the low 70s, and by Saturday there's a chance we won't make it out of the 60s. Our overnight temperatures will also spend several nights on the cool side with 50s and 40s possible by the weekend.
Often times after a cold front moves in, it only takes a couple days before our weather starts warming back up, but this might not be the case this go around. Computer models are suggesting a big shift in the weather pattern through the first 7-10 days of March where temperatures will stay cooler than average, meaning it might not be until mid March before the spring break weather makes it back to Southwest Florida.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
he spring-like warmth we've enjoyed for last several days will soon come to an end this week as a cold front eventually slides into Southwest Florida tomorrow.

IT'S NEW YORK FASHION WEEK AND DJ ROBBIE WILDE IS BUSY WORKING THE EXCLUSIVE PROJECT RUNWAY DESIGNER REUNION PARTY.
Nat sound.
WILDE LIVES IN A WORLD OF RHYTHM AND BASS.
HE JUST CAN'T HEAR IT.
EAR INFECTIONS AS A CHILD LEFT WILDE COMPLETELY DEAF IN HIS RIGHT EAR AND WITH ONLY 20-PERCENT HEARING IN HIS LEFT.
Reporter: Did you ever feel sorry for yourself?
DJ: Never, no. I would even forget sometimes myself.
ALTHOUGH HEARING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SENSE IN A D-J'S LIFE, WILDE WAS DETERMINED TO MAKE IT.
HE GOT HIS FIRST SHOT TO PERFORM AT HIS FATHER'S RESTAURANT NEARLY A DECADE AGO AND HASN'T LOOKED BACK SINCE.
I still consider it as a hobby.
I really do love it.
I don't see it as a job and that's the best part.
If you love something you don't consider it as a job, you're happy to go work.
WILDE WENT TO DJ SCHOOL TO LEARN THE ART OF TURNTABLISM.

AND ALSO RELIES ON HIS COMPUTER TO SEE THE MUSIC AND FEEL THE VIBRATION, LITERALLY.
Nat sound.
HE'S DUBBED 'THAT DEAF D-J' BY CLUB-GOERS AND PROMOTERS AND IT'S A MONIKER EVEN HE USES.
BUT WILDE SAYS IT'S MORE THAN JUST ABOUT HIS DEAFNESS.
I don't want you to see me as a deaf deejay, or a deaf kid trying to deejay.
I want you to see me as a great DJ who happens to be deaf.
I don't want sympathy.
I don't want, 'Oh lets get him a gig because he's hearing impaired.'
HIS SKILLS GOT NOTICED BY HP AND EARNED HIM A SPOT IN A COMMERCIAL THRUSTING HIM ONTO THE WORLD STAGE.
It doesn't matter that I can't hear the music.: "Because I can touch it."
He's doing it through touch without being able to hear the music, is a wonderful thing.
BESIDES, SOME THINGS ARE BETTER LEFT UNHEARD, HE SAYS.
There's a lot of sounds out in the world you don't want to hear.
I like it muffled.
I like who I am.
I'm proud of who I am.
