FIRST WEATHER-WX CTR

It's been a couple of wet days across Southwest Florida with Page Field picking up more than 1.50" of rain. As we head into the weekend, drier conditions will be back in the forecast with a big time warm up.

Our morning will get off to a mild and muggy start with temperatures in the upper 60s. We are tracking areas of dense fog this morning and as a result the National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Collier, Glades, and Hendry until 8am. The clouds will stick around for much of our Saturday, but every now and then we'll see a few more rays of sunshine especially during the afternoon hours. Daytime highs will be considerably warmer as they climb into the lower 80s courtesy of a warm southerly breeze.

Tonight, expect another round of patchy fog to develop and temperatures settling into the middle 60s.

Sunday looks to be the better weekend day as more sunshine breaks out across the area. Mostly to partly sunny skies will prevail along with afternoon highs in the lower to middle 80s. A fairly dry weather pattern will be shaping up for the upcoming week with unseasonably warm temperatures. Plan on morning lows to be quite mild in the middle 60s, while temperatures climb into the lower half of the 80s during the day. Return to index of stories...
