TY RUSSELL REPORTING.

NOW TO THE LATEST ON THAT DEADLY WRONG WAY CRASH ON I-275 IN TAMPA.

IT WAS SCOTT ENFINGER'S WHITE FORD EXPEDITION THAT SLAMMED INTO FOUR FRATERNITY BROTHERS.

KILLING EVERYONE.

ENFINGER'S LIFETIME BUDDY, DANIEL LEE MORRIS, WAS BEHIND THE WHEEL.

NOW, ENFINGER IS SPEAKING OUT ABOUT THE TRAGEDY.

CHIP OSOWSKI REPORTS. Return to index of stories...

FL WRONG WAY DRIVER-PKG

TO SCOTT ENFINGER, DANNY MORRIS WAS MORE THAN JUST A BEST FRIEND. HE WAS FAMILY.

S/ Scott Enfinger/ SUV Owner:06 -:09

"My oldest daughter knows that their Uncle Danny is in heaven."

SO WHAT POSSESSED HIM TO TAKE OFF IN THE FAMILY'S EXPEDITION?

WHERE WAS HE HEADED?

DID HE MEAN TO DRIVE THE WRONG WAY DOWN I-275?

DID HE HAVE A DEATH WISH?

SCOTT SAYS HE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE.

CHRISTINA BAKER, HIS FIANCE AND MOTHER OF FIVE CHILDREN, CALLED 9-1-1.

S/ Scott Enfinger/ SUV Owner

"This is a very horrifying thing, it's sickening. It's physically sickening, emotionally, mentally, just all around. You know the voice and the statements she made on the 9-1-1 call, the gist of it was basically, we just need help, we just want him stopped."

WE ALL NOW KNOW HOW THIS TRIP TRAGICALLY ENDED WITH THE DEATHS OF FOUR UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA FRATERNITY BROTHERS -- AND THE DEATH OF DANNY MORRIS.

ENFINGER SAYS HE WILL NEVER, EVER, GET OVER THIS.

"How do you recover from this?

S/ Scott Enfinger/ SUV Owner

"I never will. In my mind, I obviously have to move on for my children and my family, and everybody is extremely concerned for me, and like I tell everybody else, I'm fine, you know, I more worried about the families of the other four."

ENFINGER SAYS HE HOPES TODAY'S MEETING WITH REPORTERS -- WILL FINALLY GIVE HIS FAMILY SOME PEACE AND QUIET.

S/ Scott Enfinger/ SUV Owner

"I am here for three reasons today. Number one, I am pleading for everybody to please leave my family alone. Number two, to send the deepest heartfelt condolences to all the families involved, and number three to let everybody know, one last time, there is nothing I can do to stop this." MORE SNOW. ANOTHER WINTER STORM IS HEADING TOWARDS THE NORTHEAST TONIGHT

AT LEAST 21 PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THE STORM.

SCOTT THOMPSON HAS THE LATEST. Return to index of stories...

NORTHEAST SNOW-PKG

It's crazy. I wish the winter would stop. We keep getting hit over and over.

THE EAST COAST IS BRACING FOR MORE SNOW.

IN NEW ENGLAND THE CLEANUP MAY HAVE TO BE PUT ON HOLD.

Under these conditions it really isn't possible for us to keep the roads clear and safe given the rate of snowfall.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS SNOWFALL TOTALS COULD BE AS HIGH AS 15 INCHES IN SOME PARTS OF MASSACHUSETTS.

AND SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE AT TIMES.

NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY WILL ALSO SEE MORE SNOW.

ROADWAYS ARE EXPECTED TO BE WET AND SLUSHY. MAKING FOR DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PENNSYLVANIA SAW THAT ALL TOO WELL AFTER FRIDAY'S NOR'EASTER.

A MASSIVE 100-CAR PILE UP ON THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE LEFT AT LEAST 30 PEOPLE INJURED.

I hit the brakes a bunch of times, but I couldn't stop. So I hit the car in front of me doing at least 20mph.

PENNSYLVANIA WILL ALSO BRACE FOR AT LEAST 2-4 INCHES OF SNOW.

WITH THE GREATER SNOW TOTALS EXPECTED.COMES MORE FRUSTRATION AT SOME OF THE COUNTRY'S BUSIEST AIRPORTS.

Two flight cancelations and delayed, delayed, delayed. I was originally supposed to get in at 10am and I got in at 6pm.

I am taking three flights from here to Charlotte. Charlotte to Chicago to Minneapolis.

WITH THOUSANDS OF FLIGHTS ALREADY CANCELED.THE NEXT WAVE OF SNOW COULD ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS COST-PKG

IT'S A MORNING RITUAL FOR GEORGE TURNER AND JUDY TURNER,. TAKING THEIR MEDICINE.

NOBODY LOVES IT, BUT GEORGE GOT DOWNRIGHT ANGRY WHEN HE FOUND OUT HOW WILDLY THE PRICE FOR THOSE MEDICATIONS CAN VARY.

IT ALL STARTED WHEN HE WENT TO PICK UP HIS WIFE'S PRESCRIPTION FOR LOSARTAN, A BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE. FOR TWO YEARS, THE COUPLE HAD BEEN PAYING $35 FOR A 90-DAY SUPPLY AT LIFE DRUGS.

BUT THIS TIME, JUDY TURNER'S DOCTOR ORDERED THE PRESCRIPTION AT WALMART BY MISTAKE.

"And when I walked into Walmart to get the prescription, she said, 'That will be $160.08,' and I said, 'You have to be kidding.' That's more than four times what we've been paying."

WHAT GEORGE TURNER DISCOVERED IS ONE OF THE SECRETS OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL DRUG INDUSTRY: HOW THE PRICES FOR THE SAME DRUG CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM ONE PHARMACY TO TO THE NEXT.

"It really varies based on prices the prices they have to pay their wholesalers, and where they get the medicine from." Return to index of stories...

WEATHER-WXWALL

FULL WX

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

We've got a clear and chilly evening in the works Southwest Florida as another shot of cool, dry air flows into the region behind today's front.

Temperatures fall into the 50s shortly after sunset and then into the mid 40s late tonight into early Sunday morning. Some of our inland communities may even manage to get down into the upper 30s and low 40s by Sunday morning, especially for places like Arcadia, Palmdale, and Moore Haven.

After a chilly start to our Sunday, temperatures will warm up nicely through the day with clear, sunny skies expected from start to finish. Highs will mainly be in the mid 70s, except along the beaches where temperatures top out around 70 degrees thanks to a cool wind coming off the Gulf of Mexico.

Sunday night will be cool but not as cool as tonight. We begin our Monday morning with temperatures down in the low 50s, and then we warm up to around 80 by the afternoon.

Sunshine will be plentiful this week, particularly Monday through Wednesday, and we won't have much of a rain chance to speak of all the way through the end of the week.

Temperatures will be the main focus for the second half of the week as daytime highs warm all the way into the mid 80s from Wednesday into the upcoming weekend. Return to index of stories...
