FIRST WEATHER-WX CTR

A cold front has finally worked its way through Southwest Florida, and as a result a chilly and dry airmass has filtered down the state.

Our Sunday morning will get off to a cold start with readings in the middle 40s along the urban corridor, with a few upper 30s across our inland and northern communities. Sunshine will fill our skies from start to finish, while temperatures rebound nicely into the middle 70s. It should be a beautiful day to enjoy any outdoor plans you may have with pleasant humidity values in place.

Tonight, skies will stay clear and by early morning, temperatures won't be quite as cold as they dip into the upper 40s to lower 50s.

With high pressure still in control, our weather will be be on cruise control for the upcoming week. Temperatures will warm into the upper 70s during the day Monday under mostly sunny skies. As winds take more of an easterly turn, a nice warming trend will commence. By mid week, daytime highs will warm into the lower to middle 80s with rain chances under 20%. MAIN WEATHER

Stop it now. No. Keep it up. No. The police are coming for you right now.

AS GOETZ WAITS FOR ASHLAND POLICE TO ARRIVE, THE AUTISTIC BOY COTNINUES TO SCREAM AND STOMP HIS FEET AND THAT?S WHEN GOETZ GRABS HIM.

Enough. No. You heard me. No. You heard me. No. Enough.

GOETZ THEN TRIES TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE BOY FROM HIS BROTHER, WHO IS SITTING AT THE BACK OF THE BUS.

Right here, kicking me and hitting me and screaming bloody murder.

WHEN AN ASHLAND POLICE OFFICER GETS ONTO THE BUS AND ESCORTS THE BOY OFF, CATHY GOETZ TELLS HIM THAT THE EIGHT-YEAR-OLD THREATENED HER AND HIT AND KICKED HER, BUT DOES NOT TELL HIM THAT SHE SLAPPED THE BOY AND GRABBED HIM AROUND THE COLLAR. Return to index of stories...
