530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WX CTR TO WX WALL

"Cool mornings, warmer afternoons"

It was a stunning end to the weekend with blue skies, mild temperatures, and comfortable humidity levels. Our weather will be on cruise control over the next several days, as we track a big warm up through the middle part of the week.

Our President's Day morning will get off to a cool start with thermometer readings in the lower 50s along the urban corridor, with middle and upper 40s across our inland and northern communities. Sunshine will fill our skies from start to finish, while temperatures rebound nicely into the upper70s. Some spots may even touch the 80° mark this afternoon. It should be a beautiful day to enjoy any outdoor plans you may have with pleasant humidity values, as a very dry airmass remains in place.

Tonight, skies will stay mostly clear and by early morning, temperatures won't be quite as cool as they dip into the middle and upper 50s.

With high pressure in control for much of the week, a tranquil pattern will continue to be the theme of the forecast with unseasonably warm weather. Temperatures will warm into the lower 80s Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. As winds take more of an east and southeasterly turn, a warmer and more humid airmass will surge into Southwest Florida. By mid week, daytime highs will warm into the middle 80s with rain prospects less than 20%. By Friday and into the weekend, we'll introduce the chance for a stray shower or two.

STORMWARN FORECAST-WX WALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
