530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WX CTR TO WX WALL

"A dry stretch of weather"

It was a beautiful end to the last weekend of March, and it looks like a nice stretch of dry and sunny weather will continue through the week. The forecast will feature a few cool mornings, followed by warming temperatures.

Our morning will start off unseasonably cool by late March standards. So far, temperatures have settled into the upper 40s across our far northern counties, with lower to middle 50s along the urban corridor. A disturbance to our west will keep high clouds across our skies for much of the day, which will filter out the sunshine from time to time. The breeze will be much lighter today, but will continue to send in slightly drier air across the region. This will keep our humidity values quite comfortable through the afternoon as temperatures return to the lower half of the 80s.

Mostly clear skies will prevail tonight, however temperatures won't be quite as cool by morning. Expect thermometer readings to range from the lower 50s north to 60° along our coastal zones.

High pressure will remain in control of our weather for Tuesday and beyond, keeping a tranquil pattern in place. It also means veering winds to the east and southeast, which will aid in a quick warm up by mid week. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies through the end of the week with mainly dry weather. Daytime highs will also be rather toasty, as some locations make a run for the upper 80s by Thursday. Return to index of stories...
