"Sunny and dry stretch continues"

It was a beautiful start to the new month with sunshine and comfortable humidity levels. Over the next few days, our weather pattern will stay warm and sunny with rain back in the forecast by early next week.

Our morning will get off to a cool start, just not as chilly as yesterday. Temperatures will start in the upper 50s to lower 60s along the urban corridor, while northern and inland cool spots settle into the middle to upper 50s. We'll see sun-filled skies throughout the afternoon hours with just a cloud or two making it over to our side of the state. Daytime highs will return into the middle 80s, with a few inland spots making a run for the upper 80s. Cooler readings will be at the beaches and coastal areas due to the gulf breeze.

Mostly clear skies will remain in the forecast tonight, while temperatures dip into the lower half of the 60s area wide.

High pressure will rule our weather over the next few days, keeping us in a rain free pattern. Winds will veer to the east and southeast allowing the warmth and humidity to move in, along with a few more clouds. Daytime highs will stay unseasonably warm as they climb into the middle to upper 80s through the end of the week. The weekend right now is looking good, with our next chance for rain by late Monday and into early Tuesday. Return to index of stories...

530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WX CTR TO WX WALL
