It was a sun-filled and pleasant Thursday across the region, with highs climbing into the 80s. Expect comfortable conditions this evening, with temps falling into the 70s.

We will have one more cool overnight, with temps in the low 60s in the urban corridor and upper 50s in inland areas.

Our nice weather continues into Friday. Expect again mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We'll also have low humidity values and highs in the low to mid 80s.

The warmth and humidity slowly returns for the weekend. Saturday will again feature plenty of sun with highs in the upper 80s. The humidity really begins to arrive on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 80s.

Our next storm system begins to push in to start next week. A few showers will be possible on Monday, with highs in the upper 80s.

Better rain chances arrive on Tuesday as the storm system rolls through the area. Expect plenty of clouds as well with highs in the mid 80s.

Wendy Lomand-Broughton is a mother of two - who says weight watchers has

helped her stay healthy over the years.

She says she was honored when they asked her if she was interested in

helping others lose weight.

So she sued for pregnancy discrimination.

This month the company agreed 45 thousand dollar settlement. Wendy says it

is justice.

Weight Watchers says while it settled. it's not guilty.

President and CEO of weight watchers Florine Mark showed us pictures of her

family.

She says she knows moms can work.

She says a worker may have suggested that Wendy wait until after she have

the baby to apply - because you have to complete 3 months of training -

which would be hard to start right before having a baby.
