530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WX CTR TO WX WALL

HOT AND HUMID TODAY

We are head toward the upper 80s this afternoon and could even touch the 90 degree mark in some warm, inland areas. There will be plenty of sunshine, a few clouds mixing and even a couple of isolated showers popping up this afternoon. Those isolated showers will be aimed inland. Winds will come in from the southeast turning onshore this afternoon around 10-15 mph with gusts near 20 mph.

There is a cold front working its way toward us and it could help us to see a few late afternoon showers by tomorrow. There will be plenty of moisture in place through the middle to end of the week to give us more clouds along with scattered showers as high temperatures still reach toward the mid and upper 80s.

The aforementioned cold front is likely to stall in the southern part of our state, leading us to miss out on the cooling effects.

We'll see some sunshine breaking through those clouds for the end of the week, but still can't rule out a few showers as the remnants of the front will still be close by.

Easter weekend is looking very warm and partly sunny with highs in the upper 80s along with only slight rain chance. And, that rain chance is more likely on Saturday. Return to index of stories...

STORMWARN FORECAST-WX WALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS TH

E FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
