"Gradual warming trend"

Despite some lingering cloud cover yesterday, it was a pleasant and dry end to our holiday weekend. As we start the new week, we'll see a gradual warming trend with more sunshine.

Our morning will start off seasonably cool with temperatures in the lower half of the 60s. A few patchy clouds will get the day going, but overall expect a mostly to partly sunny day across the area. Over the weekend, daytime highs managed to stay in the upper 70s, but with a bit more sun during the afternoon temperatures will climb into the lower half of the 80s. A light breeze from the northeast will keep humidity values low, which will result in a rather comfortable day.

Mostly clear skies will prevail tonight as temperatures settle into the lower to middle 60s.

Not much will change as we head into Tuesday and beyond. We'll see a few more high clouds drifting in for the west, but ultimately our forecast stays mainly dry. Temperatures will warm up quickly through the week with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 80s. Our skies will stay partly sunny through the end of the week, with a slight uptick in our humidity levels as winds turn to the southeast. Return to index of stories...

STORMWARN FORECAST-WX WALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
