Return to index of stories...

530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WX CTR TO WX WALL

It is a mild start to the day across Southwest Florida and after starting in the lower 60s temperatures will warm into the low to mid 80s around the area. If you are headed to the beaches we could even have a few of those coastal locations hang on the the upper 70s for afternoon highs. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today, but I do expect that there will be more sunshine in that mix than there was yesterday. There will be light and variable breezes that turn on shore with the afternoon sea breeze today.

For tonight, you can expect the mild weather to continue with lows dropping into the low to mid 60s by morning.

Through the rest of the week, there are no storm systems headed our way. There will be a continued mix of sun and clouds with periods that have more sun and periods that have more clouds. We are looking at a trend of gradually warming things up and even adding back some humidity be the end of the week. In fact, we'll finish out the week with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. Return to index of stories...
