HEAT AND HUMIDITY SLOWLY RETURNING

It was another great day across Southwest Florida, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Expect another quiet evening, with temps falling into the 70s. Fog will likely again develop overnight, with lows in the mid 60s.

The great weather continues into Friday. We'll again see plenty of sun with an afternoon sea breeze developing. Highs on Friday will be a touch warmer, with temps in the mid 80s area wide.

The heat and humidity will return to the region just in time for the weekend. Mostly sunny skies will be the norm on Saturday, with highs pushing into the upper 80s.

A few more clouds will develop on Sunday, with humid highs in the upper 80s. A few isolated showers will also be possible inland, but most areas will likely stay dry.

Next week, more heat and humidity push into the area. Highs to start next week will be in the upper 80s, with a daily chance of an isolated PM shower in inland areas.

Rain chances will increase some on Wednesday, with even better chance for rain on Thursday as our next storm system approaches the area. Highs to close next week look to be in the mid 80s. Return to index of stories...
