"A warm, sunny weekend"

The weather over the last week has been picture perfect with mild mornings, warm afternoons, and comfortable humidity levels. Over the weekend, expect moisture to return to the area with soaring temperatures.

Our morning will start off mild with readings in the middle to upper 60s. For most, sunny skies will get the day going, while areas of fog will be possible across our inland spots. Sunshine will fill our skies throughout the late morning hours with a few clouds across our skies during the afternoon. Daytime highs will top out in the middle 80s, with lower 90s across our inland communities.

Mostly clear skies will continue into the evening hours, with patchy fog possible by tomorrow morning. With more humidity, temperatures won't cool off as much and will settle into the middle to upper 60s.

Mostly to partly sunny skies will prevail through Sunday. As afternoon temperatures top out in the upper 80s and the seabreeze moves inland, a few showers could develop. A few showers will be possible each and every afternoon, with better rain prospects by late in the week as a cold front approaches. Temperatures will continue to run in the middle 80s, with overnight lows in the 60s. Return to index of stories...

and helpless looks on the faces of the students of one of the 'best schools

in Pennsylvania' realize their precious lives are going to be taken by the

only one among them that isn't a plebeian," according to the complaint.

The complaint also says that after the stabbings began, a bloody Hribal was

grabbed from behind and taken to the floor by Vice Principal Sam King.

The suspect refused to drop his knives and said, "No, I am not dropping them

, my work is not done, I have more people to kill," according to the

complaint.

Hribal was arraigned by video Friday on new charges of attempted homicide,

aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on school property. His

attorney did not immediately return calls seeking comment.

The 16-year-old Murrysville boy is charged as an adult and being held in a

juvenile facility while he awaits a preliminary hearing.

Two victims of the Franklin Regional stabbings -- Greg Keener and Connor

Warwick -- remain at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Two other hospitalized

students were released this week. Return to index of stories...

MAIN WEATHER

FL TEACHER CHARGE-TC MON VO

A FORMER FLORIDA TEACHER --

NOW ACCUSED OF HAVING SEX WITH THREE STUDENTS --

WILL HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY TO GET OUT OF JAIL.

A JUDGE RAISED JENNIFER FICHTER'S BOND.

RYAN RAICHE REPORTS ON WHY PROSECUTORS ARE CALLING HER A DANGER TO SOCIETY. Return to index of stories...

FL TEACHER CHARGE-PKG

""A former English teacher accused of having sex with at least three

students had her bond raised Friday to well over a quarter million dollars.

Jennifer Fichter seemed unfazed by her new wardrobe and surroundings as she

faced a judge for a second time this week.

Fichter appeared to be in a good mood, even smiling at the bailiff's jokes.

A prosecutor requested a higher than standard bond due to multiple victims.

They called her a danger to society.

The judge set bond at $300,000 on Fichter's 20 new charges. That's in

addition to the $70,000 bond set last week for the first victim.

Lakeland Police Department is still investigating a case involving a third

victim.

Matthew Farmer, Fichter's Tampa based lawyer, had no comment for reporters.

Friday afternoon, ABC Action News also obtained the rest of the evidence

submitted to the Polk County Sheriff's Office back in 2012. In that case,

the mother of 17-year-old Freedom Roche went to detectives when she found

her son texting Fichter, his former teacher.

In a Facebook exchange with the teenager, Fichter talks about getting

nervous with "new babies," apparently referring to a new class of students,

according to investigators.

Freedom wrote back, "Ok stop that, you sound like a whore no offense."

In another message he wrote, " considering isn't gonna do that

for you, you have to go sleep with other guys."

We are not releasing the name of the other boy because he may be a victim.

Fichter replied, "Ummmm no more mention of that."

"Why didn't somebody do something about this two years ago when I did bring

it to their attention? It's almost like it's a little too late," said Abby,

Freedom's mother.

A spokesperson for the Polk County Sheriff's Office said, in retrospect,

that particular exchange on Facebook stands out but reiterated that there

was no indication of misconduct.

Friday the Sheriff's Office released the audio interview with Freedom,

including his response to the detectives when asked if Fichter slept with

his friends.

"I have not heard anything about it, so I'm 100 percent sure that nothing is

going on between them as well," he told the detective.

Two years later, Fichter is facing nearly 30 charges involving sex with two

17-year-old students and police are investigating a third.

The State Attorney's Office said it's reviewing the third case, but has not

decided yet on whether to file charges."" Return to index of stories...
