Now a little over four pounds.

Elijah is being nursed to health at the North Naples Hospital neonatal intensive care unit.

WEATHER-PWC

Weather pattern shift this week

After a day featuring scattered showers and thunderstorms, conditions look to remain rather calm for the remainder of the evening.

Overnight and into early Monday morning, a slight southerly component in the wind may allow for a few showers to move along the coastline early in the day. Otherwise, a round of late afternoon and early evening showers and storms are possible along the I-75 and US 41 corridors to start the work week.

The overall weather pattern south Florida is under will change this upcoming work week. A large front will advance into the southeastern United States Tuesday through Thursday. That will influence our weather by orienting the wind flow to hail from the south and southwest.

With onshore winds, we stand the chance for some rain or storms in the morning hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

TROPICAL UPDATE

There continues to be no tropical cyclones active in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. No tropical cyclone development is anticipated in the next three to five days. Return to index of stories...
