MALAYSIA PLANE CRASH LATEST-SOTVO TCMON

As I said before, you have international teams already in place, prepared to conduct the investigation and recover the remains of those who have been lost. But unfortunately, the Russian-backed separatists who control the area continue to block the investigation.

OUR BIG STORY TONIGHT --

INVESTIGATORS WANT THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW A MALAYSIAN AIRLINES PLANE CRASHED LAST WEEK.

BUT THEY'RE FACING HOSTILE CONDITIONS --

TRYING TO GET IT.

RIGHT NOW -- NEARLY ALL OF THE NEARLY 300 BODIES HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE CRASH SITE.

BUT THERE ARE QUESTIONS ABOUT WHO HAS THEM AND WHERE THEY'RE GOING.

AND AS KAREN TRAVERS REPORTS --

SIMPLY GETTING INVESTIGATORS TO THE CRASH SITE HAS BECOME A DIFFICULT CHALLENGE. Return to index of stories...

THE REMAINS OF THE 298 VICTIMS OF MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT 17 REMAIN IN

LIMBO.

FOUR DAYS AFTER THE PLANE WAS APPARENTLY SHOT DOWN OVER EASTERN UKRAINE, A

TEAM OF INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATORS - INCLUDING TWO AMERICANS - FINALLY

ARRIVED ON THE SCENE.

LOCAL EMERGENCY WORKERS HAVE RECOVERED MORE THAN 270 BODIES FROM THE CRASH

SITE. ALMOST ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE PRO RUSSIA REBELS.

.AND LOADED INTO REFRIGERATED TRAINS IN A NEARBY TOWN.

AND TODAY THOSE TRAINS ARE ON THE MOVE.

TODAY PRESIDENT OBAMA ISSUED AN AGGRESSIVE STATEMENT AIMED AT RUSSIAN

PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN. HE SAID THE BURDEN IS ON RUSSIA TO MAKE THE REBELS

STOP GETTING IN THE WAY OF THE INVESTIGATION.

SOT

President Obama

We have to make sure that the truth is out and that accountability exists.

THIS NEW VIDEO - SHOT LAST FRIDAY - SHOWS WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE PLANE'S

FLIGHT RECORDER.

AND THIS AUDIOWHERE REBEL LEADERS ALLEGEDLY TALK ABOUT HIDING THE BLACK

BOXES - SAYING QUOTE "TRY TO TAKE EVERYTHING THAT YOU FIND SO THAT IT DOESN'

T GET INTO SOMEBODY ELSE'S HANDS."

sot

Col. Stephen Ganyard, USMC

ABC News Consultant

If the Russians get a hold of the black boxes, they're an interested party

so I don't think there's any evidence we can trust.

UKRANIAN OFFICIALS RELEASED THIS PHOTO THAT APPEARS TO SHOW THE MOMENT THE

BUK MISSLE WAS FIRED. THEY SAY THAT 12 HOURS LATER, THIS MISSLE LAUNCHER

WAS SEEN HEADING INTO RUSSIA.WITH AT LEAST ONE MISSILE MISSING.

KAREN TRAVERS ON CAMERA:

BUT THE RUSSIANS CONTINUE TO DENY ANY INVOLVEMENT - AND SAY IT WAS THE

UKRAINIANS THAT BROUGHT DOWN THE PLANE.

DEALING WITH STRESS-PKG

It's a tough world out there.and for some people, all this upheaval can be upsetting. Many become stressed out.

But psychologists say, there are ways you can deal with anxiety that can keep depression away.

- Exercise. Doctors say the best thing to do is to keep busy and get the endorphins pumping, which can make anyone feel better.

- Watch your salt and sugar. Lowering both of these in your diet helps your whole body work better, including your brain.

- Get more vitamin D. Studies have shown that a lack of vitamin D can add to the blues. Best way to get vitamin D? From the sun. So get out for short periods of time and enjoy the outdoors.

-Hang with friends or loved ones. Being around people you like can make you a happier person.

- Relax. Try a yoga class, or meditation. Research shows that even 15 minutes of meditation can cut down on stress.

And if you find things don't get better, seek professional help. Depression is a serious condition, but it can be treated. Return to index of stories...
