JUST A FEW PM DOWNPOURS

The onshore flow will continue today. However, the likelihood of AM showers is very low. The better chance for rain will be in the PM hours, especially along and east of I-75. Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s with heat index values reaching to near 100 degrees.

Drier air does start entering the area on Friday. This will reduce the chance of PM scattered storms, but not completely end the threat. Highs on Friday will be in the low 90s.

Even more dry air works in for the weekend. Right now, Saturday looks slightly wetter than Sunday but the majority of both weekend days are expected to be dry. The best chance for storms each day will be in the afternoon and early evening hours. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s.

Next week looks fairly quiet as the dry air remains in place. Just a few widely scattered storms are expected each afternoon, with highs in the low to mid 90s.

FINAL WEATHER

TROPICAL UPDATE
