Forecast: Mild today, cold front tomorrow

Warm and humid air continues to hang over Southwest Florida on Thursday, meaning another mild start with temperatures in the 60s. Areas of dense fog will stick around for the early morning in DeSoto and Charlotte counties. Fog development in other areas including Lee and Collier counties will be not as widespread as yesterday. There will still be areas however with visibility under a half of a mile at times.

Conditions this afternoon will be partly cloudy and mainly dry, although a stray shower or two can't be ruled out. Temperatures will top out at around 80 degrees again today.

It will be another mild night with a few areas of fog and increasing cloud cover ahead of a cold front. By the afternoon and evening we will see a few showers and higher winds as the front passes.

Temperatures will begin to fall through the day on Saturday and bottom out in the 40s early Sunday morning. The weekend will be breezy and chilly with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 50s and 60s for most of this timeframe.

We'll begin next week with lows in the 40s and highs only in the 60s but warm slightly by Tuesday afternoon. Another front is likely early next week which will hold our temperatures below average for the foreseeable future. Return to index of stories...

IKEA IS OFERING A UNIQUE WAY FOR WOMEN TO GET DISCOUNTS ON BABY CRIBS-

THE COMPANY IS ASKING WOMEN -- THAT MAY BE PREGNANT -- TO URINATE ON A MAGAZINE AD -- AND IF IT SHOWS UP THEY ARE PREGNANT -- THEN THEY GET A DISCOUNT CODE. APPARENTLY THE TECHNOLOGY IN THE ADD IS SIMILAR TO A PREGNANCY TEST.

IKEA is offering an unconventional proposition to potentially pregnant women: Urinate on this ad, and you might get a discount.

IKEA is asking women who might be pregnant to use a magazine ad that doubles as a pregnancy test, offering a discount on a crib to those who find out they need one.

The Swedish furniture and home retail company is running an ad that doubles as a pregnancy test, offering a lower price on a crib to those who find out they need one.

The ad is running in the Swedish magazine Amelia, according to Adweek. The agency who developed the ad, Akestam Holst, told Adweek that the technology in the ad is similar to pregnancy tests, but that "Technical advancements made during the work with this campaign have the potential to improve medical diagnostics."
